Bats

Here in Arizona we have 28 species of Bats and we get a lot of bat calls every year. Most of the time it’s because they are making a mess by front doors and back patios.

Bats will leave heavy urine staining and fecal pellets around the houses when they decide to roost and eat there. Bats are actually great little exterminators and are very beneficial to our environment. They use Echolocation to locate and capture their prey. They also help pollinate crops and distribute seeds in the environment. They are protected by the state of Arizona and the main methods of control are exclusion or the use of electronic devices that can be purchased at any hardware store.
